Since today, SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN 2017 has opened its doors to the trade public. The festive start of the world´s leading trade fair for joining, cutting and surfacing featured guests from the sporting, political and economic fields and was compered by Rudi Cerne already took place in the previous evening. Right on time for the start of the period, around 1,000 exhibitors from 41 nations are now presenting their eagerly awaited ranges on offer - including numerous world premieres.
Amongst other exhibits, it is possible to see production installations and robots on booths with futuristic arrangements in part. A new subject concept is ensuring optimum visitor guidance in the halls. However, the world's premier fair is not only a showcase for new products, processes and services but is also becoming a significant platform for the exchange of specialist ideas with the DVS CONGRESS in the top-class supporting programme. This year, the DVS CONGRESS with the Annual Welding Conference (GST) and the DVS Student Congress is taking place in the East Congress Centre at Messe Düsseldorf from September 26 to 29 on the initiative of DVS.
