Final Report: Eighth INDIA ESSEN WELDING & CUTTING Presented Innovations Relating to All Aspects of Welding and Cutting Technologies

Over 14,500 Trade Visitors in the Bombay Convention & Exhibition Centre

India's economy is on a growth course. Therefore, the eighth INDIA ESSEN WELDING & CUTTING was once again a popular platform on which the trade visitors obtained information about products, services and technologies for welding and cutting technologies and placed orders directly. At the most important sectoral event for the Indian region, 91 exhibitors from nine nations presented their solutions in the Bombay Convention & Exhibition Centre in Mumbai. The trade fair took place together with the Tube India, Metallurgy India and Wire & Cable India fairs with related subjects - with over 14,500 trade visitors from 14 countries, the quartet registered a plus of more than 19 percent compared with the preceding event (in 2016: 12,282).
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) forecast impressive economic growth of 7.3 percent for India in 2018. This is also associated with investments in the infrastructure - thus, good prerequisites for the eighth INDIA ESSEN WELDING & CUTTING. Here, the exhibitors showed their products for manual welding and machine welding. It was possible to see devices not only for the most diverse welding processes but also for coating, robotics and automation. The exhibitors praised the quality of the trade visitors and highlighted, above all, their great decision-taking powers. Thus, the trade event backed by Messe Essen, its partner Messe D├╝sseldorf India as well as the cooperation partner DVS - German Welding Society once again emphasised its position as the leading fair for welding and cutting technologies in India.

Top-Class Accompanying Conference with Over 250 Participants

INDIA ESSEN WELDING & CUTTING was rounded off by a top-class supporting programme which offered informative value added. The International Welding Symposium IWS 2K18 was dedicated to new materials development technologies, welding innovations, qualification methods and materials determination and involved 254 participants. The Vendor Development Programme which concentrated on procurement processes attracted a large number of visitors too.

The next INDIA ESSEN WELDING & CUTTING will take place in the Bombay Convention & Exhibition Centre in Mumbai from November 23 to 25, 2020, once again together with Wire & Cable India, Tube India and Metallurgy India.
