Innovative welding technology “Made in France”

From metalworking to mechanical engineering to equipment for welding and soldering technology –  this year, 15 French companies (2013: 12) are using SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN 2017 as a platform to showcase their businesses and their expertise on the international stage alongside other individual French exhibitors. The joint stand is located in Hall 9, Stand A 48 and has been organised by the French business development agency Business France and the production technology association SYMOP.

Visitors will be given insights into the field of metalworking, including information on the range of filler metals and solder alloys made from silver and copper phosphorus which are “Made in France”.  In the machinery development and production line development segment, information on offer will focus on topics including innovative manufacturing processes for sheet metal forming and sheet metal welding, cap changers as well as combined milling and changing systems and the process of resistance welding and friction stir welding. The range of accessories being showcased by French companies for welding and soldering is just as broad: it extends from equipment for use in both the high and low-pressure ranges and for micro-welding, welding and resistance welding tasks through to hydrogen burners, also covering safety-related topics such as protective screens and suction removal of welding fumes.

In addition to companies presenting their own expertise, networking is at the forefront of the international dimension of SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN 2017. For those trade fair visitors and journalists who are interested, the French exhibitors are also making arrangements including a get-together on 27 September from 12:30 p.m.
