At the DVS competition "Jugend schweißt", everything revolves around the four manual welding processes: gas welding, manual metal arc welding, tungsten inert gas welding, and metal active gas welding. This year's competitions began in the spring within the DVS district associations and will continue over the summer at the next level of competition in the DVS state associations. The winners will meet for the grand finale at the world-leading trade fair SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN. Just in time for the start of the trade fair, the competition arena in the Galeria will also be opened – participants and mentors, sponsors and jurors, as well as all interested visitors will gather for the official kick-off at the DVS joint stand.

The heart of all DVS activities is the technical-scientific collaborative work.
