Young Welders' Competitions

In hall 14, three different competitions will take place for the best up-and-coming welders from home and abroad at SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN 2017. Germany’s 12th DVS competition “Jugend schweißt” [Young welders] forms the opening act, in which the search is for Germany’s most talented up-and-coming welders. This will be followed by the European WELDCUP and the international competition.

DVS Robot Welding Competition

The second DVS robot welding competition in Hall 13 is mainly about excellent welding knowledge and sophisticated programming. Following the considerable success of the first competition in 2015 in Nuremberg, you will experience live automated welding.

The DVS CONGRESS will take place from the 26th to 29th of September in the Congress Center Düsseldorf and will include a large welding conference and DVS student congress. The DVS CONGRESS is synonymous with high-calibre presentations with first-hand welding information.
