The new FACCIN 4HEP-E is a 4-roll, direct electric-drive plate roll which provides unmatched efficiency, productivity, and ergonomics.
Many features and FACCIN innovations set the 4HEP-E apart from every other plate roll on the market. Productivity is increased with rolling speeds of up to ten meters per minute (32.8 ft/min), an increase of nearly 100 per cent compared to other plate rolls available.
A high efficiency electric design reduces energy consumption costs by up to 35 per cent. Operator ergonomics are improved with a nearly 15-dB reduction in noise levels, and lower vibration. Other features include an integrated heavy duty drop-end, enhanced braking torque, and durable screw pumps.
Not only does the new 4HEP-E allow the owner to increase productivity while reducing operating costs, but to also helps lead the new metal forming tendency of reducing carbon footprint.
The 4HEP-E is suitable for rolling steel up to 75 millimeters (3 in.) thick and widths from two to four metres (6 to 13 feet). To lower maintenance costs, reduce downtime, and increase the machine's performance and life cycle, the 4HEP-E utilizes a centralized lubrication system.
Operators will benefit ergonomically from the 4HEP-E's reduced working height, which makes it easier to operate and handle steel plates. An LED display on the front of the machine assists the operator in monitoring the roll speed and alarm indicators.
The 4-roll direct electric drive is engineered to be pre-plumbed, wired, and structurally designed to accept all future accessory, upgrades, and retrofitting with virtually no downtime.
The result of this new hybrid design is higher productivity, reduced electrical consumption, and greater ergonomics associated with the handling, staging, squaring, and rolling of steel plates.
