LE LORRAIN, an industrial flagship based in Lorraine, France, is taking a new step in its development with the relocation of its production site, just 5 km from its historic location. This ambitious project addresses several strategic goals: increasing production capacity, optimizing workflows, improving storage, and enhancing employee comfort.
With an additional 1,000 m², the new facility allows for optimized industrial processes and better logistics organization. "This new space enables us to meet growing demand while offering improved working conditions for our teams, including a 60 m² break room," says Alexandrine Charonnat, the company’s CEO.
A family-owned business soon to celebrate its 80th anniversary, LE LORRAIN is:
- 42 dedicated employees,
- €10 million in annual revenue,
- 60,000 gas regulators and 40,000 torches sold each year,
- A presence in over 60 countries worldwide.
Despite outside offers, LE LORRAIN chose to remain in Lorraine. "Leaving our region was never an option. Our expertise lies in the hands of our employees. Staying close by was the only way forward."
Upcoming challenges include:
- Expanding into new international markets,
- Diversifying activity sectors beyond welding.
With this new facility, LE LORRAIN reaffirms its ambition to combine local roots with global reach, while remaining true to its human and industrial values.
