Sanarc® ALU is designed to replace Argon in STANDARD TIG and MIG welding of aluminium and its alloys. Minimal additions provide a more stable and concentrated arc, allowing a smoother welding bead with a small affected zone (Frost zone). Improved wetting forms a bead with a smooth and a finely scale look. This mixture provides a wider and deeper penetration profile and allos a higher welding velocity than that obtained with Argon, similar to that obtained with mixtures of 10 - 15% Helium. Its greater fluidity replaces the classic C-shaped weld pool with a more circular one.
