WeldFix - Primary circuit connector

WeldFix - Primary circuit connector

With up to 5 poles, our circular range is designed to supply power to resistance welding units and can cover any application in spot welding.

WeldFix circular connectors guarantee safe and reliable power supply to welding units. Rugged and high in performance, they feature highest contact reliability and current-carrying capacity. Thanks to these solutions, power cables between weld controller and welding gun can be divided into several sections, simplifying handling and maintenance. The 3- to 5-pole options comply with the ISO15656 standard (Resistance welding - Transformers - Integrated transformers for welding guns). They are ideal for manual, stationary and robotic welding guns, no matter if welding steel or aluminum.

NEW: SpotFix connect - Secondary circuit connector

NEW: SpotFix connect - Secondary circuit connector

The modular and scalable SpotFix Connect system was specifically developed for use in the secondary circuit of resistance welding equipment, particularly X-guns.

Careful attention must be given to the cable connection points in the secondary circuit of resistance welding equipment. Bolted cable connection points tend to deteriorate over time, leading to increased contact resistance and energy losses. When worn secondary circuit components, such as connecting cables, need to be replaced, extensive machining of the old cable connection points is necessary. This re-work process is time-consuming, and its quality depends on the expertise of the technician. Insufficient machining can result in undefined contact resistances, higher energy losses, and a shortened service life.

To address these challenges, the modular and scalable SpotFix connect system was specifically developed for use in the secondary circuit of resistance welding equipment, particularly X-guns. This cooled connector system eliminates the drawbacks of screw connections. It ensures consistently reliable contact conditions and optimal system availability.
