New CK Worldwide UltraTIG Series torch packages feature a fusion of the best innovations and designs created over the past 50 years by CK Worldwide. UltraTIG Series torch packages include an ergonomic handle with Steady-Grip™ “pistol-grip” attachment, rotating ball strain relief, leather hose cover, Super-Flex™ cable(s), accessory kit with a standard Gas Saver™ Gas Lens, quick disconnects, and a MasterTIG series torch. These combined innovations provide the user with the best quality TIG products on the market in a conveniently packaged kit.
The UltraTIG Series handle’s ergonomic design allows a large amount of control, while retaining a lightweight design. Super-Flex™ cables coupled with a leather hose cover, and strain relief, add an additional element of protection by reducing the exposure too, and likelihood, of cable fouling issues while also preventing pinching.
CK Worldwide, in business since 1967, started with the premise of making durable, cost-efficient torches for the welding industry and moved forward by adding pivotal designs to their product line including, but not limited to, the wedge collet, Gas Saver™ gas lens, Flex-Loc™ torches, Super-Flex cables, Trim-Line™ torches, Max-Flo™, Fail-Safe™ ferrules, Steady-Grip™, LaYZr™ Tungsten, and the MT200-AC/DC - TIG Welding System.
Our tungsten electrodes are the best quality in the industry! We offer competitive pricing and our proprietary LaYZr™ tungsten electrode, which is a tri-mix of Lanthium, Yittrium, and Zirconian oxides.
With a removable or adjustable “pistol grip” style handle, the new SGACV Steady-Grip™ gives the
operator smooth, accurate, and ergonomic “trigger finger” control of the TIG Welding process. The
Steady Grip™ can be used with most Constant Current GTAW power sources and provides machine
contactor on-off, gas solenoid activation and full range amperage control.
Super-Flex™ cables are a staple of the TIG welding industry and the preferred lead used by many professional welders. Our nylon-overbraid allows for extreme flexibility and a lightweight design that makes this cable the best in the business.
The Micro Torch is the smallest TIG torch manufactured by CK Worldwide. With 3 different angled heads this torch is very versatile and can be used in many tightly-spaced applications. It can be purchased in either a 70 amperage gas cooled style or a 140 amperage water cooled style. These torches also feature a pyrex cup for high weld visibility.
Our wedge collet is a proprietary design that lasts 10 times longer than a standard split collet. Made from brass instead of copper, and featuring a tapered tip design, the wedge collet doesn't twist or deform over time. The increased surface contact area between the tungsten and the collet body allows for improved arc starts and stability.
Our Standard and Large Diameter Gas Saver™ kits have been a staple innovation for many years. Prefered for use on alloys such as Titanium and Inconel these kits provide a columnar flow pattern that covers your weld much more consistantly than a standard gas lens. The pyrex cup also provides fantastic visibility and extended tungsten stick-out on our large diamter kits for those extra hard to reach welds.
Trim-Line™ torches significantly reduce the size and weight of your TIG torch, while still maintaining similar amperage capacity and duty cycle. Our innovative design allows for maximum amperage in a compact torch body.
Designed to give welders more versatility, the CK Flex-Loc™ torches are perfect for hard to reach welds and positions. The 360 degree variable angle head locks at the desired angle for ultimate control.
CK Worldwide Inc. is celebrating 50 years of developing innovative technology and products for the welding industry. Established in 1967, Conley & Kleppen, later to become CK Worldwide, has brought more improvements to TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) equipment than any other manufacturer. The quality and range of products offered by CK Worldwide has been met unmatched, and continues on as one of the most preferred varieties of TIG products.
“It all started with the simple idea of entrepreneurship; we saw the way torches were being made and thought to ourselves, we can do this better,” states Art Kleppen, Owner and Founder. “The innovations just seemed to keep coming, one after another, and that’s when we knew we had something special.”
To commemorate their 50th anniversary, CK Worldwide has made a $50,000 donation to the AWS Foundation, matched dollar for dollar, in order to create two annual TIG welding scholarships. These $2,500 scholarships will be awarded to two individual students, every year, as determined by qualifying criteria. CK Worldwide hopes that these scholarships open new doors for students and allows for continued growth within the welding community.
For over 50 years, CK Worldwide has brought more innovations to TIG welding equipment than any other manufacturer. With more patents on product design and improvements than anyone else, CK Worldwide is 'THE STANDARD IN TIG WELDING.'
