Innovation

Kjellberg is expanding its portfolio for plasma cutting with the new power source K 200 which will be presented live.

With the K 200, users can focus on the essentials of plasma cutting: optimal and reliable cutting results with easy operation and low investment and operating costs.

The power source cuts with oxygen, air and nitrogen in the material thickness range from one to 60 millimetre with a maximum cutting current of 200 A. In addition, the K 200 has a marking function. It has integrated automatic gas control and a torch with direct connection. A manual torch extends the range of application to manual cutting and gouging. Overall, the user benefits from low investment costs and easy installation, operation and maintenance of the system

The K 200 can be fully integrated into CNC guidance systems or controlled and monitored via smartphone. The accompanying app also allows the user to see all parameters and settings at a glance and customise cutting data.

Visitors will be able to experience the new K 200 power source live cutting mild steel several times a day. The functional scope of the app will also be presented at the trade show.

With just a few settings the compact plasma cutting units of the Smart Focus series achieve excellent results in the cutting range from 1 to 100 mm – even under most challenging conditions. The Smart Focus units can also be used for marking, bevel and underwater cutting – made in Germany.

The plasma cutting systems of the HiFocus series meet the highest demands in the cutting range between 0.5 and 160 mm. Due to the constriction of the plasma arc by means of a heavily rotating swirl gas, it is possible to achieve excellent cuts with nearly dross-free and rectangular cut surfaces. Users benefit from diverse possible applications as well as low process costs due to high cutting and marking speeds: The plasma cutting units can be used in connection with all common CNC guiding systems, pipe cutting machines or robots, also for bevel cutting or underwater plasma cutting.

The innovative Q-Series made by Kjellberg Finsterwalde combines precise plasma cutting up to 120 mm at an extraordinary level with the requirements of digitalised production. The Q-Series offers performance and productivity and above all stands for consistent and reliable cutting quality. High cutting speeds ensure greater efficiency and lower costs per cutting metre. Latest inverter technology also reduces the CO2 footprint and thus contributes to climate protection.

Being the oldest manufacturer of plasma cutting technique in the market, Kjellberg Finsterwalde offers its customers plasma cutting technique for the most diverse tasks for automated, mechanised or manual cutting - made in Germany.

Plasma power sources used on 2D or 3D guiding systems, i.e. cutting tables, pipe cutting machines or robots, allow precise, laser-like and fast plasma cutting. Typcial application areas are the metalworking industry and steel service centres, plant and container construction or the automotive industry. That is where the plasma cutting technology is used in for straight and contour cuts, bevel and hole cutting, marking, notching and punching or for cutting of tubes and profiles.

Plasma cutting inverters for mechanised and manual plasma cutting are used when it is important to make precise cuts with simple and compact machines. In the cutting range up to 50 mm it is possible to produce straight cuts as well as profile, contour, hole and bevel cuts manually. Plasma gouging is also one of the applications.
