With the Q-Torch Auto Change System, Kjellberg Finsterwalde is presenting a powerful solution for automated plasma cutting at Schweißen & Schneiden 2025. The system enables fast and precise changing of torch heads without any operator intervention. This saves valuable machine time, reduces downtime and significantly increases system availability.
The system is based on an innovative changeable head lock with pneumatic control. The number of mounting stations can be expanded indefinitely and can be individually adapted to the respective production processes. Existing Q systems can be retrofitted without any problems. Thanks to identical TCP and consistent spacing, the system is also ideal for bevel applications.
This means the Q-Torch Auto Change System supports unmanned plasma cutting, lowers maintenance costs, and keeps quality consistent.

The K 200 offers exactly what plasma cutting is all about: optimum and reliable plasma cutting quality with easy operation at lowest cost. The power source cuts with oxygen, air and nitrogen and provides a marking function.
Integrated automatic gas control and direct torch connection simplify installation and maintenance of the system. Important data and parameters, as well as cutting data sets in the material thickness range from 0.036 - 2 1/4 inches can be intuitively accessed, selected and adjusted up to a maximum of 200 A.
Plasma Torch for best Cutting Results
Plasma Cutting units of Smart Focus are optimised on customer demands: easy to use, easy to service and easy to repair. With a superior price-performance ratio they are designated for use in all common CNC-guiding systems.
With just a few settings the compact plasma cutting units achieve excellent results in the cutting range from 1 to 100 mm – even under most challenging conditions. The Smart Focus units can also be used for marking, bevel and underwater cutting.
Automated plasma cutting systems from the Q series are optimized for digitized production. The power sources can be controlled via smartphone or tablet and offer high performance when cutting metals up to 120 mm with 450 A. Latest inverter technology also reduces the CO2 footprint and thus contributes to climate protection.
In order to react flexibly to future requirements, the performance of the plasma cutting systems can be increased afterwards thanks to their modular design. All components can be used universally for the entire Q-Series.
