For the first time, the weld pool backing developed by us enables single-layer welding of sheets >15 mm using laser hybrid welding.

This innovative technology enables you to make the welding of thick sheets significantly more productive. Thick sheets are welded, for example, in the construction of towers for wind turbines. Here we can save around 90% of the costs, reduce the processing time from 5 days to just one day and also emit 15 times less CO₂. In other words, this is innovative, German mechanical engineering.
