New control from EWM for MIG/MAG XQ welding machines - Precise, user-friendly and reliable: the new Expert 3.0
At SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN in Essen, EWM will be demonstrating what modern welding technology can achieve today. From 15 to 19 September, the company will be presenting tried-and-tested solutions for automated and manual welding in Hall 5, Stand E29 - with a focus on process reliability, digitalization and resource efficiency.
For example, EWM will be presenting modular automation concepts that are based on standard components and can be individually adapted - from submerged arc welding to the EWM React welding process. As a highlight, live welding via cobot will also be on show for the first time. The solutions enable consistently high seam quality, minimize set-up times and can also be used economically for small and very small series. Customers are supported throughout, from the initial consultation and concept development through to initial sample welding and commissioning. In addition to the existing portfolio, EWM will be presenting a further developed solution for manual TIG welding for the first time at the trade fair - with a clear focus on increased energy efficiency and resource-saving operation.
Another key topic is digitalization - including the further developed Welding 4.0 welding management system ewm Xnet. It supports the digital control and evaluation of all welding processes and provides all relevant production and consumption data in real time. This data can not only be tracked, but also centrally managed and documented. In addition, ewm Xnet enables continuous quality monitoring by automatically recording welding parameters and comparing them with the specifications. This allows deviations to be detected at an early stage and documentation requirements to be met in accordance with standards.
The welding technology specialist will also be providing information at SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN about its measures for more sustainable and resource-saving welding. With its BlueEvolution® sustainability initiative, EWM combines ecological responsibility with technical performance. The use of modern inverter technology reduces energy requirements, cuts material consumption and reduces emissions - by up to 75% according to studies. Processes such as forceArc®, coldArc® or EWM React also help to minimize welding fumes, rework and heat input. Thanks to digital gas control, up to 25% shielding gas can also be saved.
