Our Graebener® circ seam milling machines ensure the cost-efficient, reliable and safe weld seam preparation and are also suitable for the quick and reliable seam repair.

Customized mobility: The circ seam milling machines are available in three different versions: as a transportable solution that can be easily positioned by crane or forklift to the workpiece, with an additional base for transportation by SPMT (self-propelled modular transporter) or as a rail-mounted solution.

Highlight for wind towers and monopiles: In addition, the transportable milling machines can be positioned at different heights to the pipe sections using our special height adapter, allowing you to process very different diameters with one machine.

Long Seam Milling Machines

Our machines (underground a. overground designs) are equipped with an intelligent copying system which compensates the height difference in case of uneven pipe supports. This way, we ensure a constant seam depth at any time. Quick and economic operation with milling speeds of up to 1,000mm per minute and cost-efficient milling tips with multiple cutting edges. The operator-friendly and accurate seam tracking is carried out by means of an integrated camera and laser pointer at the control screen.

Our end beveling machine are a one-for-all technology which helps you process the most complex weld seam geometries and facing operations in a cost-efficient way, even with wall thicknesses of up to 80 mm. Continuous Root Tracking Machines

Continuous Root Tracking Machines

With our continuous root tacking machines you can accurately close the gap remaining in the LSAW pipes after the pipe forming process. The longitudinal edges are pushed together thus closing the open seam pipe. This way, the tacking lay can be optimally introduced to the open seam pipe in a subsequent process.

Precise Processing due to roller cage: The pipe is passed through the machine in a continuous process being guided by pressure rolls in all four directions. The top rolls are located in a patented roller cage and can be adjusted like the lateral rolls for a precise processing of the open seam pipe. During the entire process, the welding gap is scanned by means of a 2D laser scanner ensuring an ideal positioning of the welding head to the welding gap, a constant tacking lay and thus the optimum basis for the subsequent submerged arc welding processes.
